SETTING HIGH STANDARDS IN BODY PIERCING
Totally Pierced complies with the NSW Health Department Skin Penetration Guidelines State Health Publication No. (EH) 98 00 99.
Our body piercing studio is regularly inspected by the local authorities.
Totally Pierced uses the latest technology in sterilisation - the STATIM 5000 Cassette Autoclave.
To ensure a clean and sterile body piercing procedure, all our instruments and jewellery are pre-packed and pre-sterilised in an autoclave film laminate. All of our needles are disposable single use only.
A Topical Anaesthetic is available for some piercing's. Please consult one of our piercers for further information.
Some Doctors are administering an anaesthetic by way of a needle prior to a body piercing taking place. It is the opinion of Totally Pierced that by administering an anaesthetic prior to a body piercing can cause swelling which can lead to an incorrectly placed piercing. Use of a local anaesthetic can sometimes be more painful than the piercing itself.
