Ear Lobe Piercing is a popular piercing with both men and women of all ages. The most important things for a successful Ear Lobe piercing are the placement of the piercing and sizing of jewellery.
Ear Lobe piercing can be placed almost anywhere on the lobe, usually being placed in the middle of the ear lobe. The ear lobe is the only part of the body that can accept normal ear studs and sleepers unless you have sensitive ears. Most styles of body jewellery are also suitable.

The healing time can vary from person to person depending on their health and whether or not they follow the aftercare instructions. The first 14 days are crucial in the healing process. During this period it is important not to touch the piercing unless cleaning (twice a day for the first 14 days with an antiseptic solution that Totally Pierced provides), no oral contact, and to be careful not to knock the piercing.
During the first 8 to 12 weeks it is not unusual to experience some secretion from the piercing, as this is part of the healing process. We advise not to change the jewellery for the first 6 to 8 weeks and to make sure that only the highest quality jewellery is used at all times.
