SETTING HIGH STANDARDS IN BODY PIERCING
Nose Piercing or Nostril Piercing has always been a popular piercing. The most important things for a successful Nostril piercing are the placement of the piercing and the sizing of jewellery.
Nose / Nostril piercing is usually placed on the side of the nostril along the natural crease of the nose using either a ring or a stud.
It is important to use only the highest quality body jewellery such as 316L Surgical Stainless Steel, 18ct Solid Gold or Titanium. Here at Totally Pierced we carry an extensive range of nose / nostril jewellery and specialise in custom-made jewellery.
Totally Pierced recommends against the use of ear piercing guns.
The healing time can vary from person to person depending on their health and whether or not they follow the aftercare instructions. The first 14 days are crucial in the healing process. During this period it is important not to touch the piercing unless cleaning (twice a day on the outside of the nose for the first 14 days with an antiseptic solution that Totally Pierced provides), no oral contact, and to be careful not to knock the piercing.
During the first 3 to 6 months it is not unusual to experience some secretion from the piercing, as this is part of the healing process. We advise not to change the jewellery for the first 8 to 12 weeks and to make sure that only the highest quality body jewellery is used at all times.
